Details
If you are a caregiver, family member, or friend of someone with Alzheimer's Disease or dementia, join us for a new online caregiver support group starting Tuesday September 23.
This group will meet monthly on the fourth Tuesday of the month via Zoom. The support group will allow attendees the opportunity to share common experiences, to provide emotional and social support to others, and share resources, including practical tips for being a healthy caregiver.
Registration is required to receive the Zoom link.
This group is free and is provided by the Portsmouth Public Library in partnership with the Alzheimer's Association.
About the Facilitators
Anne Romney
Anne has been a volunteer community educator for both the Maine and NH/MA chapters of the Alzheimer’s Association for the past 15+ years. She has used her personal experience with dementia in her family and her professional skills to help support others who are dealing with this enormous challenge. She is an Alzheimer’s Association-trained support group leader. Anne lives in Portsmouth.
Kathy Cady
Kathy accompanied her mother on her Alzheimer’s journey and is a staunch advocate of support groups. She lives in Rye with her husband and cat. She is an Alzheimer’s Association-trained support group facilitator.
