Looking for more focus, calm, or loving kindness in your life this season? Portsmouth Public Library will host a series of free, one-hour online Mindfulness Workshops with popular teacher Liz Korabek-Emerson. Sign up for one or many!
Loving-Kindness
Thursday April 28 | 6:30 – 7:30 PM
Armoring ourselves emotionally can often be used as a self-preservation strategy under stress but it has a downside in that we can become numb, less empathetic and shut down to our own emotions as a result. Learn how practicing a little loving kindness can help you to stay emotionally grounded with challenging people and situations.
Participants will learn the basic principle of loving kindness and a small practice they can use in their workplace, homes and daily life.
Registration is required. To view all workshops in this series, visit cityofportsmouth.com/library/news/mindfulness.
