Students entering grades 4 and 5 are invited to meet with other readers to talk books and trivia!

This month's book is When Stars Are Scattered, a biographical graphic novel by Victoria Jamieson and Omar Mohamed. This is a powerful book about Mohamed's experience as a child in a refugee camp in Kenya, made more powerful by its telling in graphic novel format, allowing readers to really see what life was like for Omar, his brother, friends and found family before he was allowed entry to the United States.

Students can pick up the book at the library  ahead of time and then join us for an engaging conversation and related activities about the book.
