“Seeing too much sadness hath congealed your blood, And melancholy is the nurse of frenzy. Therefore they thought it good you hear a play And frame your mind to mirth and merriment, Which bars a thousand harms and lengthens life.” As winter draws to a close, Shakespeare discussion group will discuss The Taming of the Shrew!. Fear you not of your knowledge of Shakespeare’s works, for we encourage fellows of all ages, areas of interest and expertise to attend!
On Tuesday, March 26th at 4 PM we will discuss The Taming of the Shrew in the Hilton Garden Room of the library as well as over Zoom.
Print copies of this play will be available for checkout with a library card, along with several productions on DVD. Shakespeare Discussion Group now meets in the library's Hilton Garden Inn Room as well as online via Zoom. Registration is required to receive the Zoom link and is optional for those who wish to receive reminders.
