This Disney Nature documentary is a feature-length version of the documentary TV series Planet Earth (2006), following the migration paths of four animal families. Narrated by James Earl Jones, the film spotlights how creatures on Earth live, survive, and thrive over the course of a given year. The filmmakers focus on various geographical locations, as well as a plethora of animal species. This is a family-friendly film that avoids portraying the more brutal aspects of the animal kingdom.
