After Hours Genealogy and House History Lock-In

All levels of genealogists, family historians, and house historians are invited to join us at our annual After Hours Genealogy Lock-In! This is your opportunity to dig into the library’s collection, spread out and organize your research, or test a new database. Researchers can sign up for a free 15-minute consultation with a genealogist.

This year, we’re also offering assistance for those researching the history of their houses! Take a peek at our collection of Sanborn maps, access deed records, and trace the ownership of your house using city directories. We’ll even have an expert house history researcher on hand to answer your questions.

Registration is required. Open to all levels.

We’ll provide pizza, door prizes, experts to help guide your research, and a fun (occasionally noisy) library experience!

Our experts this year include Dorothy “D” Reagan, Robert Cameron Weir, Lynette Winegarner, and John Mayer.
