Program Description

Details

Join us for a free, online card-making workshop for adults and teens ages 13+!

We’ll be making some animal-themed cards in this afternoon session, hosted by Portsmouth Public Library and taught by local business owner Courtney Daniel.

Registration is required – space is limited. Please register by Sunday, July 25.

Most supplies will be provided – once you have registered, you may pick up your kit any time between July 26 and July 30, during the library’s open hours. We will send you an email reminder! You will need to provide your own scissors and adhesive – glue tape is best (can be found at most craft stores).

Each student will walk away with:

  • Time to develop a new creative skill and see that everyone is creative!
  • Recognition of different talents in themselves and others that they don’t often get to see.
  • A judgement-free atmosphere to do a hands-on artistic activity!
  • Renewed sense of community and bonding with fellow workshop members in a refreshing context.
  • (and cards!)

The Courtney Daniel Brand provides custom stationery design and V.I.P relationship management. For Daniel, handwritten letters and cards have always been an important element in keeping in touch with people she loves. She has a lifelong practice of mailing handwritten notes, letters and personalized cards. Her passion for communicating feelings and finding creative solutions was the start of her career as a Creative Strategist, developing custom stationery solutions for individuals, small businesses and corporations!
