Interested in playing with yarn and fibers, but not quite sure where to start?
Join library staff and Nicole Snow of Darn Good Yarn for an introduction to weaving on small, hand-held lap looms! We'll learn about our looms and the other tools required, get started weaving, and talk about all the different materials we can use in our future projects. You will receive a kit including a loom, so you can keep practicing even after the class ends!
Nicole Snow is a fiber enthusiast and owner/CEO of Darn Good Yarn. She is an experienced weaver and enthusiastic about spreading a love of the fiber arts. Nicole will be joined by the library’s Nicole Luongo Cloutier, also an experienced weaver!
Registration is required. Space is limited. All registrants will receive a kit with all required materials!
