Program Description

Details

The Planner Society at Portsmouth Public Library presents a series of workshops! Join us in February to learn the basics of hand lettering and make your own hand-lettered artwork, with Swetha Shenoy of The Paisley Corner.

Ever wanted to try hand lettering, but didn’t know where to start? Then this class is for YOU! In one hour, you will learn the art of drawing letters and create your own hand-lettered artwork. Once you have learned the basics of hand lettering, you can create all year long! Use this fun technique to personalize cards, gift tags, place cards, and even your journal. The possibilities are endless!

Registration is required. Space is limited. All registrants will receive Zoom link in advance. Kits will be available for pickup in advance at the library.

Swetha Shenoy is a lettering and watercolor artist based in Secaucus, New Jersey. She specializes in custom art prints, hand-lettered artwork, and handmade cards. Check out her work on Instagram: instagram.com/thepaisleycorner.
