Jennifer Moore is the Founder and Co-creator of Project Upcycle, a sustainable fashion competition for emerging designers of New England, and PortSwap, the popular clothing swap that celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2019 with over 500 people in attendance. Over the years Jennifer has been a blogger, editor, and magazine contributor around issues of sustainable style. She recently authored a book about the seasonal workers of Star Island (nicknamed Pelicans) that was featured on NH Chronicle. Jennifer currently works at Heinemann Publishing as a blogger and social media specialist. Jennifer Moore is known online as Recovergirl, which she says is a riff on the brand name Covergirl, but with "RE" added to the front to hopefully bring to mine -- REDUCE, REUSE, and RECYCLE.
