Introduction to Zentangle

Discover the relaxing, no-mistakes art of Zentangle at a free two-hour class! Local certified Zentangle instructor Valeria Rienzi unites meditation and creative expression through deceptively simple line drawing to create small paper tiles of art. The Zentangle Method is a fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns called "tangles." Tangles are combinations of dots, lines, simple curves, S-curves, and orbs that make simple but intoxicating art. Your tiles can stand alone or can be put together into mosaics. Zentangle expands creativity, improves focus and concentration, and promotes relaxation while having fun!

About the Instructor

Valeria Rienzi is a certified Zentangle instructor who began taking online classes during COVID, completing her Teacher Certification in April 2022. Originally from Argentina, Valeria now lives locally and teaches the art of Zentangle at Kittery Adult Education, online, and at her own studio.
