Details

For January, we are greeting the New Year with a craft and writing activity! Join us to create your own Personal Profile Journal, all about YOU! It’s a great way to track what you’re doing, what you’re interested in, and what you want as the year moves forward.

As an extra bonus, we’ll also have supplies to make a Mini Desktop Art Calendar, featuring your very own mini drawings!

*****

Whim Whams was first presented by Portsmouth Public Library's Youth Services in the '80s, and since retro is cool, we're bringing it back! Each month, on early release days, we will feature a different activity for kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Each session is free, and you don't have to attend all of them to take part.

This after-school series will invite local experts, artists, and craftspeople, as well as library staff, to come in and share their knowledge and skills with the kids. Potential activities include a writing workshop, a martial arts demonstration and introduction, a maker day, and more!
