Details

Each year we are excited to join libraries nationally to celebrate Take Your Child to the Library Day! Join us for our 2023 celebration of all things library with all-day activities and special story times - including an Italian language story time with "Professoressa" Marissa Bognanno, language teacher for the elementary schools, a Spanish language story time with native speaker and early childhood educator Kari Taylor and a French language story time with library director Christine Friese. Or stop by for a couple of rousing games of Book Bingo led by Miss Gretyl and Ms. Fijalkowski.

Get to know the youth services department with a special scavenger hunt, make a craft, visit with our reading dogs, Chloe and Tillie and be sure to get your own library card!

We also encourage everyone to dress as their favorite book character and stop by our photo booth for pictures!

This day-long program is free and open to the public. We look forward to seeing you!
