Purpose of Meeting
The MAYOR'S BLUE RIBBON TASK FORCE ON HISTORICAL ARCHIVES invites you to attend a public session concerning the next phase of planning for a Portsmouth Archive.
The Portsmouth Athenaeum, Portsmouth Historical Society, the City of Portsmouth, including the Portsmouth Public Library and the Strawbery Banke Museum, along with community members, serve together on the task force, tasked with demonstrating the need for a public/private archive partnership to properly store and provide safe access to important historical documents, books, paintings, furniture and artifacts.
