Program Description

Details

Children, families, and classical music lovers are invited to a very special free performance at the library this month!

Visiting musicians, from institutions like New England Conservatory and New York Philharmonic, will play movements from a variety of pieces and will also discuss the history of quartets, and answer questions! You do not want to miss this unique and incredible experience!

This free educational opportunity is presented by the Halcyon Music Festival, which runs June 12, 13, 14, 19, 20 and 21 at St. John’s Episcopal Church.

Now in its eleventh season and under the leadership of founder/artistic director Heng-Jin Park, Halcyon Music Festival brings world-class musicians and talented young professionals to live, work, and perform together. It is the mission of HMF to create a community where chamber music will be explored and presented at the highest artistic level.
