Join Youth Services staff for a field trip to Portsmouth's oldest continuous urban farm. The orchard at the northeast corner of Richards Avenue & South Street has been home to farm animals for nearly 135 years! Meet the farm’s caretaker, Michael Griffin, to hear about the history of the farm and how it has changed and meet the latest residents – two sheep, new Spring lambs and the resident geese!
A group will leave from the library by 12:45 p.m. and walk up Richards Avenue to the farm.
Registration is required.
