Are you interested in learning about the beautiful art of antique hand fans before our big Library Regency Ball on December 13? Stop by the glass display cases in the library lobby to see the beautiful collection of antique fans collected by Shelly J. Goncalves. These fans will serve as a backdrop to the Regency Ball!

Shelly J. Goncalves has collected antique hand fans for over 50 years.  She is a member of the Fan Association of North America (FANA) and the Fan Circle International (FCI) where she was a former board member.  Her favorite hand fans are made with mother of pearl.
