In this beginner-friendly crochet class, Cali McDonald will teach individuals a basic understanding of how to crochet in rows. This will include how to hold the crochet hook and yarn, learning a foundation chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and triple crochet. The combination of these skills and stitches can result in fun, quick projects such as coasters, headbands, scarves, and more!

Yarn and crochet hooks will be provided.

Space and materials are limited. Registration is required.

Cali McDonald is a fashion and textile designer based out of Berwick, Maine. Cali attended Maine College of Art & Design where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Textile & Fashion Design. Crochet work is her specialty, ranging from garments to accessories to home décor projects. Cali enjoys the slow, meditative practice that crochet has to offer - and that it is a craft you are able to do almost anywhere!
