How do I help my child learn about race as a parent, educator, and caregiver? What are the roles I can play, what should I do, and what do I need to say?
Introducing EmbraceRace's course -- The Color-Brave Caregiver, a blueprint for raising children who are thoughtful, informed, and brave about race. Participants will deepen their understanding of color-blindness in U.S. society and learn about EmbraceRace’s counter-posture of color-braveness, self-assess caregiving roles and environment setting, and practice skills through workshops and scenario play.
Priority registration will be given to Portsmouth Public Library cardholders.
