Details
Students in grades 4 and 5 are invited to join this book club. This month's book will be A Wish in the Dark by Christina Soontornvat. Set in a Thai-inspired fantasy world, Soontornvat's twist on Victor Hugo's Les Misérables is a dazzling, fast-paced adventure that explores the difference between law and justice -- and asks whether one child can shine a light in the dark. Students can pick up the book at the library ahead of time and then join us in person outside for a fun conversation about it!
