Join musicians from the PSO for a fun, family-friendly concert that brings the world of string instruments to life!
Our “Family Matinees” are designed especially for young audiences and their families. This interactive performance features the musicians of the Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra as they explore the sounds, styles, and versatility of the string family in an exciting and accessible way.
After the concert, stick around for hands-on activities. Kids can try out an instrument, color their own musical masterpiece, or even craft a mini violin out of pipe cleaners. A perfect introduction to classical music for curious minds!
