The library will screen the locally filmed movie Lost Boundaries in conjunction with our lobby exhibit of Louis de Rochemont historic items related to The Whistle at Eaton Falls. de Rochemont's Lost Boundaries was first released in 1949 and included extras from the Seacoast area.

It is a true story of an American family living in a small town in New England where they were respected. When the doctor was rejected by the Navy because of Negro blood he had to tell his children the secret he had been keeping - that they were negro passing as whites. What was the impact of this on his family and friends?

Please join us for the movie and discussion to follow. Sharon Jones, a local Jazz performer and daughter of another local performer who had a small role in the film, will join us with her niece Sheila Reed-Finley.

Registration is not required. Just drop in! Light Refreshments will be served.
