Join us online for a program offered by the Alzheimer's Association, as part of their Empowered Caregiver series. This education series teaches caregivers how to navigate the responsibilities of caring for someone living with dementia or Alzheimer's Disease.

The holiday season can be a joyful time, but for caregivers of older adults, the season can give rise to stress, frustration, anger, and anxiety. This presentation will help caregivers prepare for the holidays and make interactions positive and meaningful.

Registration is required to receive the Zoom link.

This program is offered through a partnership of the Portsmouth Public Library, The Alzheimer's Association, and The Exeter Public Library.

About the Presenters

Anne Romney has been a volunteer presenter for both the Maine and NH/MA chapters of the Alzheimer’s Association for the past 13+ years. In addition to presenting programs, Anne has led Legacy Storytelling programs that bring people in the early stage of dementia together with student scribes who listen and write up memories shared. Anne has an M Ed in Counseling from Lesley University and lives in Portsmouth, NH.

The Alzheimer’s Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support, and research. Its mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected, and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
