Portsmouth Time Machine: A Graphic History of Portsmouth A conversation and signing with the local author and illustrator.

The Portsmouth Public Library, in partnership with the Portsmouth Ranger Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR)*, is proud to present an evening with local historian/author, J. Dennis Robinson, and local artist/illustrator, Robert Squier.

How does an idea become a book? In their slideshow presentation, Dennis and Robert chronicle their year-long collaboration creating the Portsmouth Time Machine graphic novel. The author and illustrator will unveil the process, from outline to script, sketches to final art, all while sharing stories about Portsmouth history.

Don’t miss your chance to hear from both the author and illustrator, purchase a copy of the book, and have your copies signed—just in time for holiday gift giving.

Registration is not required. This program is open to all ages.
